Killen Municipal Court is located inside of Killen Town Hall at 319 J C Mauldin Hwy. The mailing address is P.O. Box 27, Killen, Alabama 35645. The Court handles all misdemeanors, and traffic offenses occurring within the Killen city limits. Killen Municipal Court is held twice a month. The first Wednesday of each month is set aside for payment reviews and trials. The third Wednesday of the month is for initial appearance hearings and driving school returns. Court begins at 9:00 am.

Some charges are payable without a court appearance. Credit, debit cards, Cash, cashier check, and money orders are acceptable methods of payment. You may also pay online at www.killenal.govtportal.com or by phone at 256-715-5007. Other charges require a court appearance. If you have any questions about your court appearance please call Killen Municipal Court.

If you are interested in going to Driving school you MUST appear in court on your court date. Only the Judge can grant you permission to attend the driving school program

The Court Clerk does NOT reset court dates. You MUST appear in court on the date that is given. If you have an emergency the day of court, it is your responsibility to contact the Court Clerk.

A warrant for your arrest will be issued if you fail to appear on your court date and fail to contact the Court Clerk. Your drivers license will also be suspended.

Judge Sara N. Holmes hails as an alum of our very own Brooks High School and was an honor graduate from Birmingham School of Law. Judge Holmes has practiced law since 2009.
